This service provided by adiogo has been around for a while, but many people seem to have never heard of it. The service is setup so webmasters can provide an audio rss feed to there visitors and the cool thing is that this free rss to audio service will automatically do the voice overs for the posts on your blog!

So instead of having to record audio files for your podcast, all you have to do is blog. Then let the adiogo service do the rest for you. There is also a plugin for Wordpress, so you can offer your posts in audio format right on your blog with no setup except a few clicks and you are done. If you have been looking for the next cool RSS tool, guys this is it!

We don’t have this service setup on the RSS 3.0 site, but you can check out a working example of the adiogo rss audio feed here: Webmaster Business Plan Audio RSS Feed

So if you want the worlds easiest podcast or if you simply want something special to offer you readers, this new RSS technology is simply amazing. You will be amazed at the quality of the computer generated voice overs, I was simply blown away the first time I heard it. In the past most of the computer voices sounded like, well a computer, but this one actually seems to work. We have not seen any other services out there like this one, so if you are ready to take your RSS feed an audio feed, this is the only way to go.

You can start making your own Audio RSS Feed here.

If you are webmaster and you are already using RSS Feeds to help promote your website, you still may be missing out on one of the most powerful RSS Tips out there. Many people are glad to see the title to their post show up as a link on different sites that display and aggregate various RSS Feeds and this is a nice bonus of RSS and atom site feeds alike. However, there is another way you can be getting a lot more out of every new post you make to you site and get more link juice for absolutely free.

The information I am going to share with you here is usually hidden away in some $100.00 program or is something that you may find a application for sale that will do for you. Instead of trying to separate you and your money, I plan on showing you how easy it is to automatically build back links using your existing RSS Feed. This simple, yet effective RSS tip has changed the way many people think about link building and how they market each and every website they own.

If you decide to implement this powerful RSS trick on your own websites, you will be sure to see the benefit very fast if you are syndicating your feed to many sites. To maximize your efforts, you need to be getting your feed out to as many RSS feed aggregators as possible. The more places you get your RSS feed seen and distributed to, the more free back links your site or blog will receive.

If you need help finding out how to get your feed out to many RSS feed sites, you can always visit us at http://RSS30.com to get some free advice and RSS tips to do just that.

5 Steps To Automate Link Building Using RSS

Make sure your RSS feed is valid, by checking it here : W3 RSS Feed Validator

Choose keyword phrases that are valid to your website

Link directly to deep pages, this is more helpful as far as seo goes, than simply linking to your home page, but you can link it up as well.

Place these links in the very first line of your blog posts.

Syndicate your RSS feed far and wide!

O.K. It sounds pretty simple right?

Of course it does, it is simple. There is nothing magical about this RSS technique, besides the fact that most people do not do this. In effect what you are doing is assuring that your extra (free back link) is in a section of your post that will be guaranteed to be syndicated no matter what site or service picks up your feed.

There are some RSS websites and services that will syndicate your complete post and content, if you feed is setup to distribute the full post. However, most of the RSS distribution services will only show the first few lines or so many characters of your post. If you add the link of your choosing right off the bat, you will assure that it get posted on any site that is using or displaying your feed. Since many of the most popular RSS sites have a high page rank, Google will be sure to love these links.

To Success,

If you are a blogger then the chances are you have heard of Google Adsense. This is the one of the most popular methods to create an income stream for your blog by using contextual advertising on your pages, provided by Google. If you have ever been on a web page where you see a box of ads and at the bottom it says “provided by Google” these are adsense ads. For many this is a big percentage of overall profit from blogging and there is nothing wrong with this, it is actually a very lucrative way to produce cash from blogging.

Now for those bloggers who actually have some good traffic and hopefully many people following their blogs rss feed, Google has just released a new method of monetizing your blog. Now you can actually put Google ads right in your RSS Feed!

This is a very powerful way to increase the income you are already making or to add a completely new income stream for some. Now if you do not have a large readership, advertising in your RSS Feed may not bring as much income as advertising on your web pages themselves, but you can read through the rest of the site and find some ways to get your RSS Feed out to others, even if they do not subscribe to your feed.

The option to put ads in your rss feed that pay you every time somebody clicks them, is a great way to get paid. You can grow your current income and use some free rss tips and tricks to get your feed syndicated all across the web and start profiting from ads that are not even on your site! This is a truly unique opportunity and one that every webmaster should investigate further!

This same feature is available to anybody who has a blog on Google’s popular blogger.com also, you can simply turn this feature on in your setting and start automatically getting your blog information and ads distributed in a couple clicks!

So if you are a blogger and are looking for a new way to cash in with your rss feed get over to Google and check this one out right now.

To your blogging success,

I was recently asked how to create an RSS Feed from a yahoo group by a you tube user. I thought that this was just common knowledge, but I do deal with quit a bit of RSS information that the common web surfer does not, so I imagine that this may be of use to others as well. So I will explain 2 different ways to acquire a RSS Feed from the yahoo group of your choosing in this article.

If you are group owner on yahoo, it is very important to know how to locate your RSS Feed so you can syndicate the information you are sharing. The Yahoo Group RSS Feed can also be used to create static pages to drive even more free traffic to your group using the FeedBurner site!

O.K. enough fluff, lets get down to this quick little RSS tip, first you must have a yahoo account and log in to it, so you can navigate to the yahoo group that you are interested in creating a dynamic RSS Feed from. Once you are on the main page of the group you are interested in, follow the simple steps below.

How To Create A RSS Feed From A Yahoo Group:

1. Scroll to the bottom of the RSS Icon as seen in the image below and click it!

2. To manually create or generate the RSS Feed from any group in yahoo it is also pretty simple. Just take the original yahoo group web address like: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/rss30/ and add rss/ to the end of the web address and you have got the new address that should look like this: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/rss30/rss/ You can past this into the web browser address bar and access the groups RSS Feed as well.

I hope this helps and if there are any questions, please leave a comment below.

To Success,

RSS is a very powerful source to be reckoned with and it is a growing standard for syndication Internet’s top web sites. RSS Auto-Discovery is nothing new, but is really growing in importance!

There are many ways to utilize the power of your web site’s RSS Feeds so we wanted to discuss one method that many webmasters totally miss out on. This is “RSS Auto-Discover” and it is a great way to boost your web site’s syndication and overall exposure to the internet world. Don’t worry if you don’t know what this is, we are going to explain what rss auto-discovery is and how to implement it on your site in this article.

What Is RSS Auto-Discovery?

Auto-discovery allows people with certain RSS readers to automatically detect that an RSS feed exists for the content contained on the webpage.

If you’re an avid RSS user, you get the power of this already.

Just in case you’re not, lemme spell it out for ya…. Thanks to Yahoo, people won’t even have to go to your site to add you to their Yahoo page, if you have the right Meta Tag in your site’s header. The yahoo search engine actually shows your rss feed with a nice little RSS Logo right from the Yahoo! Search if you have the yahoo toolbar installed.

And if they don’t use the My Yahoo page to track their feeds or the Yahoo toolbar? They’ve been kind enough to include a link to your XML link as well.

How do I know this works?

Here’s what it looks like:

< !– RSS Autodiscovery — >
< link rel=”alternate” type=”application/rss+xml” title=”RSS” href=”http://rss30.com/feed/rss/”>

All you need to do to implement this on your own web site, is to replace my RSS feed link with your own, and add the tag to the header of your site. If you are using wordpress, you will need to go to the appearance tab and choose editor to do this. If you are using other html editors, just view the source of the main page or the page that includes your sites header in most cases.

Turning on this rss autodiscovery will really help boost your sites exposure and hopefully your RSS Feed Subscribers!

Also most browsers these days will show a little RSS Icon in the top of the browser, in most cases right inside the address bar. These are ways that the newer technology rewards those of us who offer RSS syndicated web site content. There are always newer and better ways to get your site discovered by newer readers and get more website traffic from your online efforts and that is why we are here!

So just a quick rss tip for you, add the code to your site today and start seeing your rss feed showing up in more search engines, more browsers and on more users desktop today.

Free RSS Feed Discovery Code Creator:

Let this tool create an rss auto-discovery code for you!

To Success,

There are a lot of great RSS web resources out there and we wanted to take a few minutes to explain some of the advantages of one of the biggest on the web, FeedBurner.com

What Is FeedBurner.com?

Feedburner.com is a site that allows webmasters to dress up their respective RSS Feeds. Since FeedBurner.com was purchased by Google, it has changed in a few ways and mostly for the better. The simple fact that this is a site owned by Google, you know that anything you submit here will be indexed by Google in a timely fashion. Also, you can now connect your RSS Feed Analytics to your Google Analytics account. This is a great way to keep all your stats in one place and make your job a lot easier.

What Can FeedBurner.com Do For My RSS Feed?

FeedBurner.com has all sorts of interesting ways to “Add” value to your existing RSS feed. You can do a lot with the formatting, you can add links, you can make social bookmarking of your feed items a snap, you can even make the feed more accessible by making it available in multiple formats.

RSS Feed – Subscribe By Email

This has to be one of the most useful features that FeedBurner.com will add to your RSS Feed. If you do not have a mailing list, this is the next best thing. You can put a small piece of code on your site and then allow your readers to subscribe to updates from your site via email. The email updates are driven by your RSS Feed, so every time you update your website or add a new piece of content, your readers are automatically notified of the updates.

Multiply Your Feeds Using FeedBurner.com!

Many people like to use popular websites and programs that allow RSS Feeds to be submitted to directories and RSS Feed Aggregators. If you are doing this with your current feed, then understand that each feed you add to the FeedBurner.com site will produce a new RSS Feed web address and in essence will multiply the number of feeds you have to submit to these services and sites.

Remember that you will need to give a slightly different title and description to your FeedBurner.com feeds or they may be marked as duplicates!

More FeedBurner.com RSS Feed Tricks

Here are some other quick things you can do with an RSS Feed on this awesome site:

1. Replublish Your RSS Feed As HTML

2. Automatically Notify Services When There Are New Posts

3. Rotate RSS Feed Headlines

4. Add Adsense To Your RSS Feed

5. Display Subscriber and Click Out Statistics Of Your Feed

6. Export Info On Multiple Domain RSS Feeds In CVS Format

I truly hope that this article was both informative and useful to you. If you have any questions on the usage or implementation of the information shared here, feel free to comment on this post or <a href="http://rss30.com/contact/"target="_blank"title="" >contact us direct.

I was browsing some articles on the topic of rss and rss submittion over at Ezine Articles and ran across this short write up on the usefulness of rss feed distribution. I thought it was worth sharing with everybody here, so we have republished the rss article below.

We hope you enjoy the quick read on the power of rss,

-RSS 3.0 Admin

——————————————————————————————-

RSS Submission Tips – Is RSS Distribution Worth the Effort?

By Ray B Spencer

Okay, so maybe you have heard about submitting your RSS feed to RSS submission sites; but thought, “What’s the point?” Well, I hope to discuss some of the issues surrounding this topic and hopefully provide a few answers.

First of all, your RSS feed is updated automatically, every time your website is updated. This article is not about how to set up an RSS feed, so hopefully you have that already done for your site. The fact that it is automatically updated is the key to everything. So, essentially when you get your feed listed on another site, this site provides a back link to each of your articles posted!

If you Google, “list of RSS Submission sites” or something similar, you should be able to find a nice list of sites that will allow you to submit your feed to. Once you have gone through and done this once, you should never have to do it again. So, there are lots of paid services out there that will submit your site automatically to dozens of RSS sites; it may not be worth it. If you take the time to do it for yourself once; these feeds will be updated automatically everytime you update your own site.

What I like to do to provide some extra value to these submissions is to socially bookmark the feeds as well. So, lets say you submit your feed to feedest.com. The link where your feed is listed will be something like feedest.com/yourfeed. You will take this URL feedest.com/yourfeed and submit it to as many social bookmarking sites as you can. This will ensure that your feed submissions are indexed by Google and will provide higher link value to your site.

These will indeed provide some SEO value to your site. Will it bring hoards of traffic? Probably not. But it will create an environment that is more likely to get your site indexed, linked to, and more likely to do better in the search engines.

So, RSS submissions are not a fix all wonder for SEO; it does provide some value, so is worth spending the time doing.

There has been some heavy competition in the website syndication arena and we just wanted to clarify some questions that people have about which version/protocol that is the most effective for you and your website. It seems that the use of different protocols for web site syndication has confused some and made many not sure which is the “right” choice for their own web site syndication needs. RSS has been around longer than any other web site syndication service, however when the Atom publishing service came out, there was a lot of discussion about how it may eventually take over as the standard for newsreaders and web site syndication alike. Atom boasted a more robust and scalable platform for website syndication and also allowed for links and images in your feeds.

When the internet giant Google, adopted the atom feed as the default on the huge blogging site Blogger.com many thought that the days of RSS were already gone. This has added to the push for more use and acceptance of the atom feed protocol, but has it actually taken hold for good?

Which Protocol Can My Feed Reader Accept?

Feed readers have become pretty much open to either form of web site syndication. Now you can read either format with most feed readers and if you are using a feed reader that does not accept one or the other, you can always go to feedburner.com to convert your RSS feed to atom or atom to RSS. So no matter what type of a feed a site offers you can always get the newest content using any feed reader of your choosing.

Of course, it has been some time since this technology has come out and it is now just in it’s infancy stage, but has never become more popular than RSS. RSS has actually grown and become as powerful if not more powerful than the atom publishing protocol. RSS now can display links images and even videos in some cases, so the advantages of use the Atom protocol for web site syndication have pretty much dissolved.

Many websites do accept both types of feeds, however RSS still remains the Internet standard. The atom publishing protocol started off strong because at the time it actually offered more features than RSS. However, as newer versions of the RSS protocol have been released, it quickly caught up with Atom.

RSS or Atom?

So the quick answer is still RSS, but you may want to make sure that your website feeds are still available in both formats to make sure that your readers can get updates from your website in their preferred format. As far as news readers and feed aggregators go, you can use either for the most part, but Atom feeds usually are more likely to display full posts and pictures in the posts automatically.

To Success,

There are so many great benefits to using rss feeds for your online promotions. However, there are some benefits that many overlook. We wanted to take this time to exploit the biggest secret of the rss community and that is link building.

Who Thinks About Link Building and RSS?

Probably not to many and that is why this industry secret has survived so long. Most people think of rss as just another way to find updates of websites in their web browser or in their email client. This is true, but that is just the begining of the power of rss and rss technologies.

RSS can be a powerful link building tool and we want to show you exactly how, so take a second and watch the video below to see how we can blast our links across the web and force rss feed agregators to distribute our back links for free!

WordPress and RSS

WordPress does have a lot of cool RSS features built in. That is one reason we love to use wordpress as our choice publishing platform here at RSS 3.0

However there are some functionality and capabilities that many people do not even know of and this is what we are going to discuss in this article. You can of course tell the feed how many posts to show and if you want your information syndicated as a description or full text and we do suggest that you use the full text of your posts, it’s like getting more bang for you buck as far as getting your content out there.

However, what about multiple rss feeds?

This is a topic that very rarely gets discussed, unless you buy some fancy course and that’s not what we are about here. We are ready willing and able to share all the ins and outs of the rss world, so here we go!

Yes, wordpress is setup, by default ready to create as many different rss feeds as you could want.

Why would a person want more than one rss feed for the same web site or blog? Well for several reasons, the first and most obvious, being the fact that you can syndicate multiple rss feeds and drive more traffic back to your website by the extra exposure created. The second, may not be as important for smaller sites but is very important for huge sites or any web site with many categories of interest.

If you have a bunch of categories on your site and people interested in one may not be interested in the other, why not give your website visitors the control to choose with section of rss updates they want to follow? This is a great way to get more subscribers to your rss feed and make sure that your subscribers are only getting the updated information that interests them.

WordPress Multiple RSS Feed – How To

We want to let everybody know that there are some plugins that will allow you to do this, but we have found them to be literally useless and then they want a back link on your site on top of there lack of development. So, that in mind you have been warned and here is what you need to do to create your own rss feeds from your site.

1. Make all the categories you want on the site and make sure that the children categories are named as you would like your rss feed to be named.

2. Go to the category of your blog that you want to make a new feed from.

3. In the address bar of your web browser, go to the end of the web address and add this /feed/

with the forward slashes!

4. Hit the enter key or load this web address you have just created.

5. You should now be looking at the RSS Feed of that category, you’ve done it!

This process can be repeated for as many categories as you like. All you need to do is add the link to the appropriate rss feed wherever it may be needed. If you want, you may add a new text widget and put the links to all of your rss feeds in it, so the visitors can choose the feed they want. If you use rss submission software, make sure to add each separate rss feed that you have created.

This seems to be pretty straight forward and simple, so I hope you have no problems creating your own feeds. However, if you do, feel free to contact the RSS 3.0 Suppot Team for any questions or comments you may have.

To Success,
